The focus of counselling and psychotherapy can be both short term and goal oriented, or long term and oriented toward deepening understanding of your self and relationships.  The style used will be decided by both client and counsellor, and both types of support are designed to help promote clarity, new options, and inner and outer resources for change.

Counselling and Psychotherapy are broad fields with diverse treatment methods. As an integrative therapist, I am trained in a wide range of techniques, and use those most appropriate to the client's needs and style. My Qualifications and Experience:

Since 1996, I have worked as a counsellor and/or psychotherapist in private practice and in the fields of community services, mental health, and addictions.  Additionally, I have worked in research, and as an educator in counselling and community work.

Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy
